Short bio
Bo Sun is an Assistant Professor in the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Ottawa and a Faculty Affiliate at the Vector Institute. Before joining the University of Ottawa, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Waterloo and the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He received his Ph.D. from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. His research focuses on designing algorithms with provable guarantees for decision-making under uncertainty in complex systems, such as smart grids, data centers, and LLM serving systems. He has also served on the program committees of leading conferences, such as ACM SIGMETRICS and ACM e-Energy.
